A pair of vintage French porcelain antique vase lamps of bottle form, with Pate sur Pate decoration on celadon ground ormolu mounts. This pair of bottle form celadon glazed and pate-sur-pate painted vases, dressed with French bronze, were originally oil lamps, and here, retain their original wick adjusters. The celadon glaze originated in China and was prized by the Emperors for its jade color, similar to the 'Stone of Heaven'- jade.
